Vatted, the old Scottish term for blending takes on a new meaning with Cooper Spirits.  As the first American whiskey company to use the term and proudly champion this unique practice, hand-selected barrels chosen by third-generation distiller Rob Cooper, were sourced after a thorough and discriminating taste and search process.  This Vatted Rye is a skillfully blended, complex blend of hand-selected aged straight rye whiskies from Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Alberta, Canada with ages ranging from 8 to 16-year-old rye whiskeys.  Allowed to marry in vats until reaching optimal harmonization, this whiskey provides notes of Maple, Toffee, Mace, Clove Tobacco, Dried Fruit and Rye Spice on the palate.
