Skellig Triple Cask Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey is great example of fine Irish whiskey. This limited release is Skellig’s first expression in the Six18 Step Collection. Is celebrates the most unique style of traditional Irish whiskey – Single Pot Still. It is matured on the Skellig Coast on the south west of Ireland in ex-Bourbon barrels, where the Atlantic air flows through our maturation warehouse. They chose to finish the whiskey Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks in homage to the centuries of maritime trade between the Irish Atlantic Coast and Europe, which often saw boats pass the Skellig Rocks carrying sherry from the bodegas of Jerez. This bottle design celebrates the fact that these sailors were guided by celestial stars and constellations that shine brightly in what has become Ireland’s first Gold Tier dark sky reserve.
