Aged for 12 years in ex-American Oak casks and finished in bespoke barrels that previously held Akashi-Tai's superior Umeshu Plum Sake Liqueur, this expression is finished and bottled in Japan. The palate perceives a complex flavor profile, which offers hints of honey and sweetness from the Umeshu casks. The nose senses cereal, fresh pear and apricots.
